I decided to start Rumbling Hearts, 50's Rockabilly Fashion, when my husband & I purchased our Hot Rod. I wanted to dress the part when out with The Mistress, our 32 Coupe and living in Darwin we had no local stores stocking the quality 50s style I was looking for.
It was and continues to be so important to me that the 50s style clothing I stock is of a high quality as well as being comfortable and oh so flattering. If I wouldn't wear it, I will not sell it!
I believe it is important to try the product for myself, and why shouldn't I enjoy all these fabulous outfits also.
I am very fortunate that Darwin has a supportive and caring community that gets behind its locals, and I have certainly been supported by so many who without I am sure the journey wouldn't have been half as enjoyable as it has been.
Four years on and I am happy to say Rumbling Hearts continues to grow and so does Darwin's Rockabilly community which is so great to see.
Rumbling Hearts will continue to participate in the events we have come to know and love, and I am very proud that our online shop is growing, and we share the fabulous 50s Rockabilly style throughout Australia and Internationally. Afterall life is too short to not look fabulous.
